Art Deco
Art Deco, a visual arts style emerging after the First World War, was widely appreciated internationally in the 1930's and 40's. Originating in France during the age of the machine and mass production, colourful Clarice Cliff, Cinema's and Theatre's spanning the 1920's through to the 40's, and the iconic Chrysler Building, New York in particular typify the Deco period. Though not everyone's cup-of-tea, those who love Deco do so with a passion.
